A wide sealing surface on each seat ring minimizes seat stress allowing high cycle rates. All metal to metal internal seals – no grafoil or Teflon behind the seats. Because the ball & seats are mate-lapped, the sharp leading edges of the seat ring wipe the sealing surface clean each time the valve is operated.
